Averages in 6th Class
We’ve been learning all about averages. Today we playing a game of darts and worked out the average of our score.
Magnetic Cars in 6th Class
In 6th Class we’ve been learning all about magnets!! We made magnetic cars and had to repel them around a short obstacle course!
Homemade Soup 🍲
6th Class enjoyed some delicious homegrown soup! They goy the chance to harvest the vegetables from the school garden, chop them and cook some soup for all to try!! A huge thank you to Jessica for all the work she has done!!
Colour Value Landscapes- 6th
This week in Art Rang a sé learned about adding white and black to a colour to create different shades! We then painted some wonderful landscapes!

6th Class have been settling into back to school life this week! They enjoyed some games on Friday in PE.
Sports Day
Rang a sé had a very enjoyable day at the rugby club for the sports day. A special thank you to the PA for some yummy ice pops too!
6th Class in Oysterhaven
6th class had a brilliant school tour today in Oysterhaven! They enjoyed getting muddy and some sea activities.
RNLI in Rang 5&6
Rang a cúig and Rang a sé enjoyed their talk on water safety from the RNLI. Thank you to Angela and Hank for all the information.
Girls Sciath na Scol Champions
The girls had a fantastic win in the Sciath na Scol final against Ballyvourney. They played really well as a team. They wish to say a huuugggeee thank you to the supporters both at the game and in school and would especially like to take the time to thank their parents who travelled to support them in all their games and for driving them to trainings, games etc. A big thank you also to the Sciath na Scol committee for organising such a fantastic finals day 👏 SCOIL BHRÍDE ABÚ
