Week one of Junior Infants
This week we have been busy learning all about colours, the ‘s’ sound and school. We got to do our first GAA session with Dave. We have been enjoying lots of play and even got a tour of the school 🏫
Junior Infants – The Adventure Begins
Our new Junior Infants got off to a great start on their first day of ‘Big School’. They enjoyed play time, listening to the story of The Gingerbread Man, colouring and playing outside. We look forward to many more adventures over the year ahead.

URC Cup Visit
A huge thank you to Bandon RFC, Jack Crowley Munster player, Mark Crowley & Scott Kingston who kindly visited our school yesterday with the URC cup 🏆
Razzle Dazzle
Thank you to our dance teacher Veronica for teaching us fun, energetic dances today as part of our Active Schools week. We really enjoyed performing and showing off our moves with the whole school at the end of the day.
Fun in the sun 😎
We had a great day today in Bandon Rugby Club. We all took part in our school’s sports day. It was a so much fun from obstacle races and egg and spoon races to penalty shoot outs. We finished our very active day with a well deserved ice pop thanks to our Parents’ Association
Tennis 🎾
Today was our 1st day of tennis with our coach Adrian. We really enjoyed playing cups and saucers and trying to throw the ball into our opponents ring.
Stepping into Spring.
There’s definitely a spring in our steps as we ‘step in into spring’! We love stepping out in the morning and walking a lap or two of our yard.
A special visit from our community Garda.
Junior Infants were delighted to meet our community Garda, Francis today. Francis showed us her handcuffs, pepper spray and her baton. She taught us what to do if we ever got lost. Thank you Francis for visiting us today. 👮🏻🚔
