Credit Union Schools Quiz 2024
Well done to these super children from fourth class who took part in the Credit Union Schools Quiz today, in the GAA hall in Bandon. They were excellent representatives for their school. They should be very proud of themselves.
2D shape fun!
Junior infants have been learning all about 2D shapes and sorting them based on different properties!
Singing Success
We were delighted to make donations to two worthy charities in school today. We raised €1,160 from our Carol singing in SuperValu and we decided to donate €580 each to The Ronald McDonald House Charity and Aoibheann’s Pink Tie. These charities both provide support for children who need to attend hospital and their families. We are very proud that we raised so much money and that it is going to such admirable charities.
What Happens When Light Travels?
The children in fourth class successfully investigated how light waves travel in straight lines.
Learning About Light In Science
The children in fourth class have been conducting experiments to investigate how we can produce white light by making and using a spinning colour wheel with the seven colours of the spectrum.
